What are your favorite types of characters to play?

I like to have a variety (hence the one million characters I have) but for favorites, I particularly enjoy angsty teenagers, easy-going guys who sometimes have more depth to them (and sometimes not, lol), stalker-y creeps, and people with some kind of serious internal conflict. I'm honestly up for just about anything, however.

What are your favorite types of plots or relationships in RP?

I love complicated relationships of any stripe. I do have a particular fondness for siblings, whether they are close or estranged. I also dig hateships, but I find that in order for that to really be effective it works best if I've been rping with the other person long enough to know them pretty well.

I tend to say that I don't do a lot of romance, but the truth is that I like romance as long as there's more to it than meet, fall in love, tra la la everything's groovy. I do have a fondness for romances that are likely going to end in some kind of failure or doom, and I can play lovey dovey all day long when I know it's going to crash and burn. Aside from that though, I don't mind my characters being in love if it's earned, not a one thread and in love kinda deal. As long as the other player doesn't mind curve balls and angst, because I just can't help myself.

I also have a thing for unrequited love, inappropriate crushes, and adultery. Good times!

What's your preferred post length? Preferred thread length?

For posts, short and sweet. I generally post 1-2 short paragraphs, but if it's dialogue or something I'm just as likely to post one sentence (or on occasion, a gif or emoticon). I don't mind other people writing whatever length works for them, although I'm not a fan of post splicing and attempt to avoid it if I can.

For threads, I love short threads, but on the other hand, if a thread is fun and moving along, I don't care how long it gets! If something feels like it's dragging, though, I'm more likely to want to wrap it up and just move on from a fresh place.

How often do you post?

I try to post at least once a day, but I don't always manage that. I don't tend to post on weekends, so there will be a few days gap there, and sometimes if I'm busy it can be up to a week or so. I tend to have a lot of threads, so it takes awhile to get through them too. But like I said, I try to get a post a day in whenever possible.

How long should a writing partner wait before nudging you to respond to a thread?

I don't have any guidelines for this, but if you see I haven't been posting at all, I'm probably not around and poking me will do you no good lol.

How do you feel about rapidfire?

I love it when I can do it! I tend to have a lot of threads and a rotation that I go through, but if I'm on and you want to rapid, just hit me up and I'm always in if I'm posty!

How do you feel about group threads?

I like them when they GO. Once someone stops posting, they die a slow death and that sucks. I will sometimes play 2 or more people in a group thread just to try to keep it moving a little, and I'll duck out if it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere.

How much pre-planning vs. spontaneity do you like in your plots? Do you prefer to stick to the script or to deal with surprise curveballs?

Both! I like to plan things out in a general manner, like "a plot where character a and character b hate each other but eventually become besties" without actually planning each thread. So a general idea, I guess, and then just start playing and see what happens. A lot of my plots end up going in totally different directions because of that, but I love spontaneity too, so I don't mind.

I love it when other people throw curveballs, although I tend to be shy about doing it myself, unless I feel super comfortable with you, then who knows what will happen??

What's your comfort level regarding graphic scenes w/ violence, drug use, sex, etc? Any limits?

No limits, pretty much comfortable writing anything.

What are some RP habits/styles/etc. that you love?

People that post fairly regularly; short to medium posts; funny and sarcastic characters (does that count? I love them though lol); a willingness to build up to plots

What are some RP habits/styles/etc. that you avoid?
Godmodding :c; really, really long posts that have too much going on; more than a month between replies; IC/OOC blurring

Is there anything else you'd like your writing partners to know about you?

I'm really easygoing and love interpersonal relationship plots, so please hit me up! I'm also super busy and have a lot of threads, so if I say I need a rain check, it's not that I hate you, just that I might need a minute to get some threads wrapped!
