Akademie der Zauberei (Germany) - The Akademie der Zauberei, or Academy of Wizardry, is a small castle delicately tucked away in the Black Forest. Old enough to have certain legends made about the surrounding area, it has been speculated that wizards from this school have influenced folk tales made by the muggles around the area. The classes at Zauberei are divided by age and gender. While it is a co-ed school, female and male students rarely interact, as they are in separate classes and dormitories.

ASIA

    Mahoutokoro*** (Japan) - wiki info

Saraswati Academy of the Magical Arts (India) - Founded around the year 634 AD, the Saraswati Academy of the Magical Arts has a rich history of magical education in accordance with the Hindu belief system. They espouse a strict policy of ahimsa, or non-violence, and due to this, have a very limited curriculum of combat and defensive magic. Instead, the focus of the school lies in the healing arts, including the same Ayurvedic medicine practiced by many Indian muggles. The Saraswati Academy also produces wonderful potions masters and herbologists.

Kunlun Shan School of Magic (China) - Located in the mountains of southern China, Kunlun Shan (literally, Kunlun Mountain) School of Magic is an ancient school located on the legendary mountain of the same name. The mountain is unplottable and inaccessible by muggle means. It is a tiered mountain of multiple biomes with steep cliffs, and due to its breathtaking height is known as the pillar of the heavens. The mountain has many unusual features, including gem-filled caves, jade bluffs, magical plants and fungi, fantastical beasts, and towering waterfalls. Once, only the upper echelons of wizarding society sent their young here. However, with the rise of communism and the banning of local "superstitions," enrollment at the school has skyrocketed since the 1950s.

Spoiler: School Structure and Houses show
The school itself is composed of five palaces, each connected by celestial bridges, which are somewhat similar to vanishing cabinets in that they greatly reduce the distance between two locations by creating an astral bridge. The central palace is known as the Golden Palace. In addition to the dining hall, many of the core classes are taught here, and it serves as the central gathering area for most of the school day. The four other palaces are the houses that each of the students are divided into upon entry. These houses each represent one of the four celestial symbols and are as follows:

Qinglong, the House of the Azure Dragon, is for the driven and charismatic. It is located on a temperate, wooded area teeming with life. It is surrounded by jade-encrusted bluffs.

Zhuque, the House of the Vermillion Bird, is for the lucky and free-spirited. It is located in a sub-tropical valley near a towering waterfall that feeds into a jasper-lined lake.

Baihu, the House of the White Tiger, is for those with conviction and strength. This palace was built inside the mountain's gem-filled caves under a great, circular opening to the sky where light streams in.

Xuanwu, the House of the Black Turtle, is for those with longevity and wisdom. It is the palace highest in elevation and is located in a crystalline, snow covered landscape. Conifers sparsely populate the area, and it boasts many therapeutic hot springs.

NORTH AMERICA

Ilvermorny ***(Mount Greylock, Massachusetts) - wiki info

    Ravenwood (Unchartable West Coast Island)

Located on an unchartable island off the northwestern coast, Ravenwood is one of the oldest and most respected schools of magic in the Americas. Its main building is a magnificent four story mansion with soaring totems and murals reflective of the tribes of the Pacific Northwest. The totems once served educational purposes when the school still taught by oral tradition, coming alive to tell stories about the history and theory of magic. Although the totems are still used, the school has long since switched to written texts as its primary educational tool.

During colonization, Ravenwood became a haven for many different tribes and grew in size and diversity as the magical native communities were attacked and pushed westward. With the addition of new tribes, new architectural flourishes and iconography were added to the school's existing structure. Following the 1950s, Ravenwood has become increasingly westernized with the influx of Caucasian students.

Thanks to the diversity in its student body, a wide variety of magic is taught at Ravenwood, with excellent programs in nearly every subject. Its program in potions is particularly illustrious. Traditionally, Ravenwood sends dream messengers to screen and accept its students. If accepted, the student will wake from the dream with a black feather in hand that will help take them to their destination.

    Spoiler: history show
Founded long before the "discovery" of the Americas by Europeans, Ravenwood served as a place of shared learning between the various magical tribes of the northwestern regions. Its reputation grew, and slowly it drew students from many other tribes across the western and central plains areas, even extending down into Mesoamerica.

The arrival of European settlers to the Americas drastically changed the climate in the magical community. While at first, they were able to co-exist peacefully and several Native Americans even attended the quaint cottage school of Ilvermorny founded by one of the colonists, tensions between the groups soon escalated. As more colonists arrives, many of the prejudices of the time were reflected in the slew of magical settlers suddenly populating the continent. Though some select groups worked peacefully with the native community and were even allowed to join their school, their relationship was characterized by violent conflicts leading up to the genocide of the native population over the course of several centuries.

The MACUSA did nothing to stop the barbarity of the attacks and in many cases implicitly sanctioned them. Though many within the MACUSA were sympathetic to the plight of the native communities, they were fearful and outnumbered by the militaristic. Though the MACUSA is credited with hunting down the Scourers, in reality many of them were turned against the native populations while the government denied their involvement.

In the mid-1800s, they organized a major attack on Ravenwood. By that time, the sympathizers within the MACUSA got their act together and played a notable role in helping Ravenwood fend off the attack. This attack marked a turning point in the relations between the natives and MACUSA. With many of the extremists killed or weakened, the balance of power within the MACUSA shifted, and they entered an uneasy truce with the natives.

Over the decades, the relations between the natives and MACUSA improved. Though the First Wizarding War was not as prominent in the Americas, a large part of this was due to cooperation between the natives and MACUSA to quickly eliminate the extremist elements. It was fighting against a shared enemy that finally cemented relations between the two communities. Today, the once segregated communities have become heavily integrated.
